Significant places in Berguedà include Rasos de Peguera, an old ski resort dating back to 1908 and one of the firsts in the country. Nowadays, this area offers a wide range of excursions and hiking, as well as snowshoeing during the winter months.

Another local attraction, very close to the house, is Pi de les Tres Branques, a symbol of the Catalan Countries. It is in Pla de Campllong, in Castellar del Riu municipality. This tree, which is over 25 meters tall, represents unity and was declared a monumental tree in 1987. It is a tourist attraction in the region due to its natural beauty, and an annual gathering is held there
in July.

You can also visit the Espinalbet village, built in the 12 th Century, where you can discover the Church of Sant Vicenç and the remains of an ancient castle, once owned by the famous troubadour Guillem de Berguedà. This is where the town’s main festival is celebrated today, taking place around Saint Michael at the end of September.

The Queralt Sanctuary is another tourist destination in the area that you can visit all year. The Queralt heritage complex includes the current Sanctuary, where a reproduction of the Virgin of Queralt can be found. There is also an annex building that used to host the temple’s inn, as well as the Cave, where according to the legend, a shepherd found the original statue of the Virgin in the 14 th Century. Queralt offers magnificent views of the city of Berga and the entire central plain, with a direct view of Montserrat.

On the other hand, you have Figuerassa, Cim d’Estela and Roc d’Auró, three peaks to discover and hike with good company, thanks to the established routes and paths that are frequented by many hikers throughout the year.

Berga. The city of Berga, capital of the Berguedà region, is just 10 minutes from Les Noguers.

The city is known everywhere for its great festival, the Patum. Which has been UNESCO’s oral and intangible heritage since 2005. The festival is celebrated on Corpus Christi. But throughout the year you can visit the museum of Patum, and the monuments, murals and spaces that represent our festival. Berga is a small town, surrounded by nature, with the charm of local commerce, the weekly market on Saturdays and a good and varied gastronomy, where sausages, mushrooms or cracked corn are the protagonists. On your way to Berga, be sure to visit the surroundings of the Font Negra, with children’s games and space for picnics.
